The interior design of your home showcases a unique blend of various influences. How would you describe this style, and where do you draw your inspiration from?

My style is a mix of Scandinavian and American influences. I love the fact that many materials change over time and acquire a certain patina.I get my inspiration from Pinterest and Instagram, but also from antique markets.

Your home is beautifully nestled in a picturesque landscape. Was it always your dream to live in the Bavarian countryside? Could you tell us more about the process behind designing your house?

I always wanted to live in my own house, but it didn't necessarily have to be in the Bavarian countryside. I created lots of different boards on Pinterest for the house, created flatlays and drew. This meant that room after room was finished in my head before the house was even built.

Among the various finishes available, the bowl and side table in aged brass were selected. What influenced this choice, and what aspects of its design and finish are most appreciated?

The selected colour is reflected throughout the house in the various rooms. I love this material because it lives, takes on a patina and looks simply stunning.

Your interior design approach features distinctive, timeless pieces. Can you share some insights on how you select these pieces and offer any tips for incorporating them into a modern living space to achieve a blend of historical and contemporary styles?

Many pieces are timeless classics that were or are on my absolute wishlist! But many of them also caught my eye at antique markets and I simply had to integrate them into my home.

The love for capturing the beauty around you is often mentioned. How does photography influence your interior design projects, and what role does it play in your creative process?

I've always had a good eye for aesthetics. Photography was then the next logical step - simply capturing the beauty I see in pictures. I am all the more pleased that I have the opportunity to share these images with so many people. Be it to exchange ideas or to inspire others.
