WE ARE UNISM

Architectural Intent. Material Permanence.

The Studio DNA

UNISM is not a furniture store. It is a physical manifestation of an architectural practice based in Warsaw. After years of designing in macro-scale—navigating the relationship between landscape and structure—we have turned our focus to the micro-scale: the objects that anchor our daily lives. We treat furniture as "small-scale architecture." Every piece is approached with the same structural rigor as a building, designed to serve as a permanent anchor in an ever-shifting interior landscape.

Bridging the gap between digital precision and the raw honesty of the foundry.

The Process (Digital Fabrication x Heritage Craft)

We believe in deliberate form. Our process begins in our Digital Fabrication Lab, where we sculpt geometry using advanced algorithms and 3D prototyping. But it ends in the heat and noise of traditional Polish foundries.

We chose sand-casting because it is an honest, unpredictable medium. As molten aluminum and brass solidify, they capture the "marks of the sand" and the traces of the artisan’s hand. We do not polish away these stories; we make them the focal point. At UNISM, the process is the ornament.

Material Integrity

No veneers, no imitations. Our metal - real, heavy, cast. Our wood, solid Polish oak.

Architectural Utility

Our objects solve spatial problems. They are sculptural in form but functional in essence.

The Weight of Authenticity

Every piece carries a unique "code"—the pores, cooling marks, and textural variations that ensure your object is the only one of its kind in existence.

Provenance & Responsibility

Producing in Poland is a choice of quality and control. By collaborating with local masters—from multi-generational foundries to expert woodworking shops—we merge heritage knowledge with contemporary technology.

Sustainability at UNISM is about endurance. We utilize recycled metals and locally sourced wood to create objects that do not follow trends, but outlive them. We build for the next century, not the next season.
