The Aged Brass Low Side Table acts as a grounded historical artifact, a piece that feels excavated rather than manufactured. Through manual patination, we achieve a variegated tapestry of deep ambers and weathered golds that absorb the ambient light of a room into a warm, historic glow. The feel is earthy and organic, protected by a microcrystalline wax that gives the heavy brass an organic, living warmth under the hand. It creates an atmosphere of elemental permanence and temporal depth, suggesting a sense of foundry heritage within the modern home. This finish is at its most striking in moody, dimly lit corners or paired with rich, dark leathers, where its archaeological character can truly resonate.

Product details

The products of cast brass have small marks and variations from the casting process, therefore small holes and unevenness might occur. The surface undergoes a unique acid treatment, brushed by hand using a special acid mixture, resulting in an elegant aged effect. It features a tabletop and base, connected by a rod, all made from 100% brass. The underside of the base is lined with a thin layer of rubber to protect your floors.

Production method

The product is made by sand casting - pouring molten brass into sand moulds. As a result, surfaces may feature subtle irregularities and tiny porous imperfections, which are inherent to this method. There may be slight differences between products in terms of texture and colour, which is not a defect in the product. The product surface is finished by ageing

Care & Maintenance

Wipe with a soft dry or moist cloth. Do not leave the surface wet. Do not use any abrasive cleaning tools or strong cleaning agents such as household glass cleaner, white spirit, or turpentine. The product comes covered in special hydrophobic coating. To maintain the item in good condition we recommend renewing the coating once a year.
