The Tall Side Table in Polished Aluminium acts as a vertical liquid monolith—an exploration of specular reflection and the dematerialization of metal. Product details

The products of cast aluminium have small marks and variations from the casting process, therefore small holes and unevenness might occur. The surface is polished for a refined gloss finish. It features a tabletop and base, connected by a rod, all made from 100% aluminium. For added stability, the base is reinforced with a 4 mm thick steel sheet. The underside of the base is lined with a thin layer of rubber to protect your floors.

Production method

The product is made by sand casting - pouring molten aluminium into sand moulds. As a result, surfaces may feature subtle irregularities and tiny porous imperfections, which are inherent to this method. There may be slight differences between products in terms of texture and colour, which is not a defect in the product. Product surface is finished by hand-polishing to desired smoothness.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe with a soft dry or moist cloth. Do not leave the surface wet. Do not use any abrasive cleaning tools or strong cleaning agents such as household glass cleaner, white spirit, or turpentine. The product comes covered in special hydrophobic coating. To maintain the item in good condition we recommend renewing the coating once a year.
