The Textured Aluminium finish is the most honest and raw expression of the Fluid series. By intentionally skipping the smoothing stage, we preserve the industrial "grain" of the foundry, making the bowl feel like a solid, geological fragment and feels like an intimate detail. It is a rugged, tactile choice for those who value the unrefined beauty of metal in its most authentic state.

Product details

The products of cast aluminium have small marks and variations from the casting process, therefore small holes and unevenness might occur. The surface is left raw and brushed to remove irregularities while preserving the unique cast imperfections, adding an authentic and textured appeal.

Production method

The product is made by sand casting - pouring molten aluminium into sand moulds. As a result, surfaces may feature subtle irregularities and tiny porous imperfections, which are inherent to this method. There may be slight differences between products in terms of texture and colour, which is not a defect in the product. The product's surface reflects the natural structure of the casting.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe with a soft dry or moist cloth. Do not leave the surface wet. Do not use any abrasive cleaning tools or strong cleaning agents such as household glass cleaner, white spirit, or turpentine. The product comes covered in special hydrophobic coating. To maintain the item in good condition we recommend renewing the coating once a year.
