The Small Fluid Tray is a tactile fragment of the UNISM collection, designed to bring industrial soul to the smaller rituals of daily life. Compact yet heavy, it translates the "poured metal" aesthetic into a versatile, sculptural object. It functions perfectly as a personal valet tray, an organizer for essential objects, or a standalone sculptural accent that adds a sense of "Quiet Luxury" to any surface.

Tactile Integrity

Despite its smaller scale, the tray maintains a powerful material presence. The sand-casting process results in a unique granular texture, creating a rich dialogue between the raw metal and the object’s fluid, organic form. It is designed to be touched and moved, its significant weight providing a sense of stability and permanence.

Product details

The products of cast aluminium have small marks and variations from the casting process, therefore small holes and unevenness might occur. The surface is left raw and brushed to remove irregularities while preserving the unique cast imperfections, adding an authentic and textured appeal.

Production method

The product is made by sand casting - pouring molten aluminium into sand moulds. As a result, surfaces may feature subtle irregularities and tiny porous imperfections, which are inherent to this method. There may be slight differences between products in terms of texture and colour, which is not a defect in the product. The product's surface reflects the natural structure of the casting.

Care & Maintenance

Wipe with a soft dry or moist cloth. Do not leave the surface wet. Do not use any abrasive cleaning tools or strong cleaning agents such as household glass cleaner, white spirit, or turpentine. The product comes covered in special hydrophobic coating. To maintain the item in good condition we recommend renewing the coating once a year.
